Supporting skin, face and eye care with red light therapy
Skin and eye care are where red light therapy first gained serious scientific attention — and for good reason.
Wavelengths in the 600nm range sit in the visible red spectrum and are uniquely suited to surface level cellular support.
Unlike near infrared wavelengths which travel deeper into tissue, red light at 630nm, 660nm and 670nm is absorbed close to the skin's surface, where it interacts with the mitochondria in skin cells, supporting cellular renewal, collagen production, and overall complexion care.
The results many people report — clearer skin tone, reduced appearance of fine lines, and a brighter, more even complexion — are in line with what decades of photobiomodulation research suggests may be happening at a cellular level.
Eye care is a more specific application, and one that Red Light Rising has offered for years through our 670nm devices.
The 670nm wavelength sits just at the boundary between visible red and near infrared and has been the subject of peer reviewed research exploring its potential to support mitochondrial function in the cells of the eye.
Many of our customers use their device as part of a morning eye care routine, positioning it at a comfortable distance — typically 30 to 40cm — and gazing gently in the direction of the light for five to ten minutes.
Every product in this collection delivers wavelengths in the 600s, with many also offering near infrared wavelengths for those who want complementary deeper tissue support.
Our handheld devices are particularly well suited to face and eye care — compact, precise, and easy to position exactly where you want the light to fall.
For broader coverage, our full body panels provide a hands free way to incorporate skin care into your existing morning or evening routine.
Red Light Rising has been supporting customers with skin and eye care applications since 2017.
Every order includes a free Zoom onboarding session where we help you build the right routine for your goals.
Plus, with our 365 day trial, you have a full year to experience how it works for you.
Note: Red light therapy is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Please consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding any pre existing skin conditions or eye concerns before starting.
