How to use the Full Stack

Hang it, lean it, or mount it on a stand
Use the included door hanging kit to hang the Full Stack from any standard door, or lean it against a wall. At 1.2 metres tall, the Full Stack covers your entire torso in a single session. For a more permanent setup, mount it on a compatible vertical or horizontal stand. Position it so the light is aimed at the area you want to support.

Switch on and choose your wavelengths
The Full Stack has two independent switches — one for red light (630nm + 660nm) and one for near infrared (810nm + 850nm). Switch on one or both depending on your goal. Red for skin, eyes, and surface wellness. Near infrared for joints, muscles, and deeper tissue. Both together for full spectrum coverage.

Relax for 5 to 15 minutes
Position yourself 15 to 30cm from the panel and relax. The 1.2 metre height means you can treat your full torso without repositioning. Sessions range from 5 to 15 minutes depending on your goal. I’ve been wanting to purchase a RLT stack for a very long time. Recently been diagnosed with Histamine intolerance, under active thyroid, low oestrogen ,watery eyes and leaky gut. Got my 3stack a few weeks ago and have been using it twice a day with good results. My morning sessions are 25 minutes long and I utilise this time to meditate and do dry brushing on my body. My evening session is 20 mins and I expose my back mainly as I don’t want to over stimulate my brain. RLT makes me feel good and can feel the difference already in my histamine symptoms and my watery eyes are so much better. Hopefully my thyroid and oestrogen levels will improve when I go for further blood test in August. Can really recommend using RLT on a daily basis.
Love using the red light, therapeutic/relaxing. Awaiting delivery of the full stack horizontal stand now.

Be very careful about buying this. Note the nonsense written on this website regarding EMFs- "There is a tiny percentage of the population that is very sensitive to nnEMF’s but if you’re wondering if that's you, it’s not, if you don't know by now." If I had seen this, I would never have bought it. If you primarily want to address skin health, the dermaluxe is much better. Near infrared is weak.

After a lot of consideration and research decided to purchase Full Stack in Feb '24. Bit disappointed to see from web-site that items were sold out until April, but pre-purchase option was available. Looked like good buy as item would be updated model and was being offered at discount due to supply lead time. Made purchase. Due to global / UK transport issues, outside RLR control, Full Stack was delivered early May '24. Have purchased several products from RLR over the past few years and again this item is of high quality and great specification, in my opinion. Would have been 5* but for communication. Sent couple direct emails for update on delivery but no personal reply; just regular Newsletter type general emails about products / /use.
I am recovering from hip replacement surgery following a fracture. At 4 weeks my healing was a little behind the average . I then started using my new full panel. Purchased the full stack 2.0 and have been using it since 13th march 2023. I was diagnosed with a very rare auto immune disease in July 2020. After much research and a recommendation from a friend, three weeks ago I took the plunge and invested in Red Light Rising’s Full Stack 2. The light was swiftly delivered and arrived safely encased in ample protective packaging. The panel is robust and although heavy, easy enough to mount on the door using the suspension kit provided. I bought this device last month and I waited a month to see how I fell. I mean.. I truly believed in it from the beginning, as I learned some time ago about the benefits of the red and near infrared light + I also did some sessions in a salon, but.. my God.. having this device at home was and it continues to be a bliss! I incorporated 20 mins of both lights into my morning routine, after I finish dry brushing and the cold shower and I also use this after the gym (if I go during the day), after the cold shower, or in the evening before bed. I did hear that it might be benefic to use it with more than 1-2 hours before bed, but trust me, I sleep sooooo well afterwards. I do also turn off the WiFi in the house + I stay for 10mins with the legs up, so maybe all these also help, but I totally love it. Something I really need to add is what I discovered this morning. 2 days ago I sprained my ankle and yesterday I had to go into the office, so I did do a bit more effort than I had to after spraining the ankle, so this morning when I woke up it was a bit painful. Therefore after my usual session when I put the full stack up on the door and I use it for the whole of my body + face, I put it down and literally placed my ankle just near the glass and stayed like that for about 20 minutes. I was sooo surprised when I turned off the light and I realised that I can move my ankle with no problem at all. If I touch, it does hurt a bit, as I guess it's still inflamed, but compared to the fact that I couldn't move it without being painful when I got up this morning, I felt like I was walking on a cloud. FANTASTIC!!! ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!

I've had my Full Stack for about two months. I use it twice a day - in the morning for mostly for skin and mood and in the afternoon after my weight workouts for recovery. My muscle soreness is significantly reduced. I can't believe how well it works for this. I am older and the DOMS can be so bad that I have trouble sitting on my sore glutes or am unable to sleep because of sore upper body muscles. NO MORE! Bought the full stack to aid the healing of my skin during TSW (topical steroid withdrawal) Due to the damage caused by the steroid creams over many years my skin got so dry and painful that I'd be up most nights re-applying moisturiser and by the morning my arms would still feel like they'd been set in concrete. What is the difference between the Full Stack, the Half Stack, and the Advantage panels?

The Full Stack sits between the Half Stack and the Advantage panels in terms of size and capability, offering full torso coverage at 1.2 metres tall with simple on/off controls.
The Half Stack (£599) is a smaller panel at 50cm tall with 100 LEDs, designed for arms, legs, or a single body area.
The Full Stack (£980) doubles the coverage to 120cm tall with 200 LEDs and the same 4 wavelengths (630nm, 660nm, 810nm, 850nm), giving you full torso coverage in a single session with the same simple two switch controls.
The Advantage 450 (£920) and Advantage 900 (£1,380) add a 5th wavelength (830nm), a built in touchscreen, wireless remote control, 6 preset Advantage Modes, and modular connectivity to link up to 4 panels together.

How do the two switches work?

The Full Stack has two independent on/off switches on the back of the panel. One controls the red LEDs (630nm + 660nm) and the other controls the near infrared LEDs (810nm + 850nm).
Switch on the red only for skin, eye comfort, and surface level wellness. Switch on the near infrared only for joints, muscles, and deeper tissue support. Switch both on together for full spectrum coverage across all 4 wavelengths.
There are no brightness settings, no timers, and no modes — just straightforward on and off. This keeps the Full Stack simple to use and means there is nothing to configure or learn.

How far should I be from the panel and for how long?

A general guideline is 15cm for maximum irradiance on a targeted area, or 30cm for gentler, broader exposure. Sessions typically last 5 to 15 minutes depending on your goal.
The rule of thumb is simple — it should feel warm on the treatment area but never hot. If it feels too warm, increase the distance between yourself and the panel.
You can use the Full Stack once or twice daily. Morning sessions may support energy and focus, while evening sessions support relaxation and wind down.

What are the EMF levels on the Full Stack?

The Full Stack has the best EMF profile of any mains powered product in our range. At 15cm treatment distance, we measured 0.0 mG magnetic field and 0.1 V/m electric field using a TriField TF2 EMF meter. That is effectively zero.
For reference, the Building Biology standard considers anything below 1 mG magnetic and below 10 V/m electric as "no concern." The Full Stack comfortably beats both thresholds by a wide margin.
It's worth bearing in mind that every electronic device you use in daily life produces some level of EMF — your phone, your TV, your kettle, your fridge, your Bluetooth headphones, your fitness tracker. EMF is a normal part of modern life and virtually impossible to avoid entirely. The additional EMF exposure from a red light therapy session is small in the context of everything else you're already exposed to, and we believe the wellness benefits of consistent use far outweigh any concern about the modest EMF levels involved.

Can I mount the Full Stack on a stand?

Some of my LEDs don't appear to be on. Is my panel faulty?

This is completely normal and your panel is working correctly.
The Full Stack contains 200 LEDs split evenly across 4 wavelengths. The 630nm and 660nm red LEDs produce a bright, visible glow. The 810nm and 850nm near infrared LEDs, however, emit light that is almost entirely invisible to the human eye. They may appear very faintly lit or completely dark.
This is not a fault — it is a sign that your panel is producing genuine near infrared light at the correct wavelengths. If the near infrared LEDs appeared bright red, it would suggest they are not emitting true near infrared light.
To confirm all LEDs are working, switch the red off and the near infrared on. In a dark room, view the panel through your phone camera. Most phone cameras can detect near infrared light and will show a faint purple or white glow from the LEDs that appear dark to the naked eye.

Can I use the Full Stack while clothed?

For the best results, bare skin is ideal.
The 630nm and 660nm red light works at the surface level and does not penetrate clothing effectively. The 810nm and 850nm near infrared wavelengths penetrate deeper and may pass through thin fabrics, but direct skin contact still gives the most benefit.
Make sure the area you are treating is uncovered and your skin is clean and free from heavy creams or oils.
